Vapor capture studies on LFF washing machine

Client:

FRAMATOME is a subsidiary of the EDF group designing nuclear power plants and supplying nuclear boiler equipment as well as reactor maintenance services.

Client needs:

Jacobsen Engineering carried out studies on the vapor captures from the LFF zirconium plate washer/ degreaser, drafted the work requirements specifications, assisted with procurement, work monitoring, tests and assistance to the facilities upon reception.

Achievements:

Design of the ventilation network for the top of the PPH tanks with droplet separator and a specific extractor
Calculation of a pressure drop and section by section balancing
Modification to an aeraulic outfall that includes a gas scrubber
Measures in ventilation ducts and balancing
